Aaron Chandler excels at the personal aspects of commercial litigation. This starts with in-depth consultation with his clients, understanding their needs, and being a sounding board for them on legal matters. But his ability to connect with the other players — judges, opposing parties and their lawyers, and juries — while fiercely pursuing his clients’ best interest helps smooth what is often a turbulent pathway to success. He picks the fights that need fighting and sidesteps those threatening to become unproductive distractions. Aaron’s focus on the things that matter most projects strength for his clients and saves them time and resources.
Aaron’s practice spans a range of commercial litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, including fiduciary liability, contract interpretation and enforcement, defamation, fraud, and antitrust litigation. He’s represented parties in internal and regulatory investigations and enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
With nearly a decade of commercial litigation under his belt, recent accomplishments include a big-dollar win by persuading a California court to dismiss a contract dispute based on complicated jurisdictional issues. In another case, Aaron negotiated a settlement of over $1 million for a small business against an international chemical and mining company over a defective product.
Aaron, his wife, and their four sons live in Boise and love it. Aaron particularly enjoys mountain biking along Boise’s seemingly endless network of trails.
